"Sacred Space"

Each note floated
softly through the air
gracing me with melody
brushing you with harmony
together ~ you and I
a beautifully orchestrated song.
As the night progressed
we evolved into a concerto.
Music
dancing in the night.
Each of the notes
well played
to compliment the
encompassing rhythm in the room.
We floated on these notes
like swans gliding across
an early morning pond,
gracefully
at peace.
