Creative writing, for me, is a timeless expression of an author's soul, a sharing of an emotion, a revelation of a spirit.  I write because I feel, because I care, because I love.  It is one of the ways I express myself.  It is one of the many ways I hope I am able to touch another human being.

A bit of history: I was born and raised in Cleveland Ohio.  Upon my emancipation I left Lake Erie for the Hudson River.  Six years later I moved again, this time from New York to San Francisco.  Most recently graduate school brought me from California to Connecticut where I have lived for the past seven years.  I feel that in Connecticut I have at last found a place to call "home".  It would be nice, one day, to share my home with a life-partner, but for now, most days, I am at peace with myself.
