About the Author: Karen Godson
"I am a 38-year-old lesbian, living in Toronto
Ontario with my life-partner. I have been writing poetry
since I was twelve, and more specifically, lesbian poetry
for the past ten years. I am a breast cancer survivor,
and I strongly believe in the power of positive thinking
as a tool for healing the body and soul. I am inspired
by the beauty of women, and feel the need to express my
admiration for them through writing, painting, and sculpting.
Currently, I own and operate a dog grooming business in
Toronto, which allows me to spend time with my canine
friends. My hope is to someday retire from grooming, and
write/paint/sculpt full-time. I would welcome any correspondence
from other women who are also inspired to express feelings
through art."
