The Ballad of Silence

There's the silence that heals
And the silence that kills
In between the vast twilight-zone
Of hope and disillusion
Right now I try to sooth the unrest
Of your quietness - no words spoken
No words written or exchanged
Between us- nothingness
This is the silence of the doubt
Slowly cutting scars on the womb
Birthplace of my love for you
The silent scream inside of me
Carving my heart- snatching my soul
How I'm longing now for the peace
The sacred silence of the desert
Laying down in the cool evening sand
After sundown- a gentle wind covering me
With the velvet touch of silky grains
Behind the shadow of my closed eyes
I catch your radiant smile and your smile
And mine are melting together
In the passion of a kiss- no words needed
What is reality- what is dream
My spirit drifting away seeking
Rescue for my despair
Are we destined to walk each-others fire
searching deep down the
Mysterious silence within
Can't find the answer yet
Can you?
