Prayer for a WomynWhen I prayed to the maker for a womyn,
I asked, please, if I may, a womyn of substance?
I need no airheads to be my soul mate
I want one who can communicate
I need no thin breakable bodied womyn
fearing constantly for her under my passion.
I want someone who can give and take robustly
with all their being, as the way I do.
I want a womyn with a brain who thinks on her own
leaving me free to think on my own, and then the
culmination of our thoughts together
will see us through any kind of weather.
And, maker, please give her a heart and soul that
can feel her conscience and hear it too
so we can think about all the things we want to do
and hurt no one in the way
And lastly, maker, let her be a bright and shining
star of yours for me, a guide so I don't lose my way
And I'll hold her up for all the world to see
this womyn of yours, given to me to adore!
