Although I was born in Mississippi, I spent most of my life growing up in New Orleans, so it'll always be "home" to me.... I currently reside in Lafayette, Louisiana, with my partner of 2 years, Diana Terry, whom I met on AOL and fell in love with.

I'm a chemist by day, an avid reader of the fantasies of Mercedes Lackey, Katherine Kurtz, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Andre Norton, as well as poetry and lesbian fiction/erotica.  I also help our esteemed Web Mistress, Cltcgdss, aka Bec, with website design and graphics both for Creative Women here and for Dragon Moon Designs.

I lost my hearing completely by the time I was 4 years old, due to viral menegitis.  I like to think that as a result of being deaf, I became very visual, enjoying visual images presented by artwork and photography, but especially the visual imagery that is painted by the written word.

I have always been interested in writing and wordsmithing, but I never truly nutured my talent, nor showed anyone my written words until I discovered the Creative Women's poetry board on AOL.  Being a part of this CW website  is such an honor, for I truly believe that our words are the windows to our souls.  It is my hope that you, the reader/websurfer, will continue to enjoy my writings and return here often.
