LONG DISTANCE LOVE

I hear your voice on the phone
I can see you as we talk
images formed from pictures
but yet I know every inch

the gentle sound of your speech
my hands trace along my skin
listening as you share
everything you wish to do

I feel myself wet between my thighs
tentative fingers within the heat
stroking the fires that burn
feeling your hands there instead of mine

knowing that as I whisper
your hand follow mine
down your body
slipping deep inside

our whispers travel the miles
as out hearts become one
bodies shudder
and souls soar

the real of now disappears
and only we remain
hands and bodies touching
kisses traded and tongues dance

feeling the need build
straining against each other
tasting the sweetness
drinking the passion

our bodies ripple
our cries are muffled
our fingers still
our hearts ache

one last sigh
a gentle caress
a barely heard good-bye
and our worlds return

The phone is replaced
our dreams take over
and once more we wait
counting down the days
Till we are together.
