Alone

Days go by so slow and long My nights are cold and lonely I sit alone to my sorrows Thinking of times gone by The laughter and love now missing Reseeding into the deep reaches of my soul. The tears flow unchecked down my cheeks My heart aches for one not there My mind recalls how happy we once were My Voice calls to one who cannot hear Hoping that soon Death will come and once more reunite me with my love that has left this world.
