Day Star

Wandering aimlessly amongst the words
Tip toeing past Venus fly traps
Brushing carefully through bramble
Gurgling peaceful stream
I drank deeply
Heavy air dark with smoke
Familiar scent of burning flesh
Clasping ankles like ocean currents
Summoning me at once
Each extension of the flame a forked tongue
wrapping itself around the nightingale and the hydra
Startled and confused spotting me
Was it the vision
A fish tank you saw me through before
Jarring your intentions
Like Pans pipe...my steps an ocarinas notes
manipulating your limbs
Slumber well dragon
Upon awakening the world will change.
