Please take me softly ...treat me gently...
There's a pain in my body that won't go away ...easily...
I listen to the wind to blow your name to me...
it brings us back together in my memory...
I caress every thought as if it were your touch...
And remember the smile that meant so much...
And when I come to the part of where you had to go...
I wipe away the tears so no one else will know...
How much you my friend had come to mean to me...
A one time love in my memory...
Then I gather your memories to me once again...
And toss them back into the blowing wind...
Waiting for them to return someday...
When I need the loneliness in side to go away...
